After fighting them off, he finally allows the symbiote to communicate with him, and it sends images of Parker's life and role as Spider-Man to Eddie, confirming his suspicions that Parker was Spider-Man. At first driven mad by the alien's attempts to communicate with him, he attacks several teenagers in his lunacy and attracts the attention of some police officers.
